Art & Cultural Events
Masterclasses and Fundraising Events
In 2020, I embarked on the initiative of organizing cultural events aimed at enriching our city’s cultural landscape and providing unique experiences to its residents. These events were not only a source of enjoyment, featuring delectable canapés and live music, but also offered attendees the opportunity to delve into art history while reinterpreting the works of renowned artists.
Beyond the enjoyment, these events served a purpose greater than themselves. In collaboration with Tedx and Rotary Club, some of the events funds raised during these gatherings were dedicated to supporting Arte Joven and its vital art therapy programs tailored for vulnerable communities.

The Art of Blooming
Art on Public Space I Artist
Client. Citelis
II strongly believe in the impact of art in public spaces. Creating an Easter collection in 2022 for Morelia’s primary mall was an honor. Despite the mall’s semi-private nature, the visitor response to my real-time painting highlighted the urgent need for such art in our city. Visitors shared how a phrase they read on my collection or a painting they connected with could brighten their day. I loved these invaluable insights from the visitors, who even told me stories about their art-loving relatives.

Embarking on an immensely rewarding project, I intimately collaborated with a group of skilled artisans in Capula, a captivating 'pueblo mágico' (magical town) nestled near my community. This venture was not only a celebration of local craftsmanship but also a unique collaboration with the assurance company GNP, aimed at crafting an exclusive art project tailored for its VIP clients.

Arte Joven
Social Entrepreneurship I Founder
In 2018, I founded Arte Joven with a clear mission: to harness the expressive power of art for emotional release and catharsis while simultaneously acting as a preventive measure against juvenile delinquency and substance abuse. In collaboration with a professional psychologist, we developed an art therapy initiative to address the emotional challenges, traumas, and aspirations of young individuals. Our goal was twofold:
We were fortunate to welcome dedicated volunteers and passionate individuals who share our commitment to driving positive change, working with over 200 children. Together, we expanded our outreach, fostering collaborations with diverse groups, and continually adapting our programs to maximize their positive impact on the lives of young people.

Art Entrepreneurship
In 2019, I embarked on an entrepreneurship journey with a clear mission: to rekindle the value of art among the youth by integrating it into our everyday lives. My vision was to make art accessible to everyone, allowing individuals to coexist with it, derive joy from it, and gain insights from it through a diverse range of objects. These items serve as canvases for my colorful and passionately crafted interventions.

Holisticoh
Retirement Home I Academic Project
Holisticoh in Mazamitla, Jalisco fosters community-driven development, inviting responsible tourism to form bonds with locals, indulge in introspective encounters, and engage in sensory dialogues while forging a profound connection with the forest. Nature is the project’s cornerstone, guiding the endeavor to respect, honor, and empower it through subtle yet impactful interventions. These interventions foster comprehensive human growth, with architecture seamlessly merging with nature to facilitate sensory engagement, experiential learning, and a return to our fundamental roots—the Earth’s interconnected processes and cycles. Inspired by the comforting ambiance of Mexican villages, Holisticoh beckons individuals to embrace their best selves during the stage of adulthood.

Embrace your best self during the stage of adulthood.

The retirement home design meticulously caters to sensory experiences and life’s magical moments—sunlight filtering through windows, local craftsmanship, fragrant blooms, and the comfort of being at home.

Museum for Humanity
Academic Project
if the human race was extincted
How would we be remembered
¿
The museum offers a sensory journey through the history of humanity. Starting from the right wing, it recounts the worst atrocities that have marked our history, immersing the visitor in an overwhelming feeling that transforms as they pass through a tunnel surrounded by moving water, revealing the light and beauty inherent in humanity itself. This duality invites deep reflection on our actions. Furthermore, the museum connects with the city, providing a peaceful area with a garden, sculptures, and even dunes with a film library as part of its open program for the nearby working community.

Chiesa Diruta

Reuse the Fallen Church I Academic Team Project
We participated in the ‘Reusing the Chiesa Diruta Church’ competition in Italy as part of an academic project. The context in Grottole is marked by a significant emigration of its residents due to the lack of job opportunities. While tourists do visit, they rarely stay overnight. To address this issue, ‘Reuse Italy,’ an NGO, initiated this competition with the aim of creating an attraction that would revitalize the town, drawing both locals and tourists, and offering the fallen church a new lease on life.
Our proposal sought to capture the essence of Grottole’s spirit. We envisioned a continuous lace, metaphorically meandering through the abandoned church, embracing its ruins, history, and culture. This lace, in a dynamic form, would not interfere with the existing structure but gracefully dance around the space, assuming various functions and guiding visitors through the former church, providing them with new experiences.

In-Community
A Post-Pandemics Mixed-Use Building
Academic Team Project
Our challenge was to design a mixed-use building in just one month, geared toward a post-pandemic urban landscape. Our proposal aims to bridge the gap between the city and the building, inviting the community to embrace this space.
Situated in a ‘new’ neighborhood in Morelia, this area had originally developed as a closed-off enclave, lacking a sense of community and city integration. Instead of enhancing security, the neighborhood’s protective walls and fences led to reduced street activity, making it less safe.
Our vision is to transform this building into a vibrant hub where people can gather, shop, exercise, and work—a microcosm of city life that connects with nature. To achieve this, we prioritize permeable architecture, enabling the building to breathe and bring fresh air to its occupants. This approach aligns with the evolving post-pandemic lifestyle, emphasizing open and adaptable spaces in our urban environments.

Cafe de Ciudad
We created a neutral space for all Morelia residents to engage in discussions about city improvement. Each session focuses on different topics and locations, attracting a growing community of young individuals passionate about Morelia’s future.
Public Space Workshops

We host workshops in different neighborhoods to address community concerns and emphasize community ownership of public spaces. Our current project aims to revitalize a neglected green area in collaboration with various partners.

June-November 2023
With the support of private initiatives, we were able to construct a LAPIS (Friendly Place for Early Childhood) in November 2023. Our focus was on creating an environment to encourage children's development (0-7 years) and improve their early experiences in public spaces through play and community involvement. Notably, our project stood out for its collaboration with local artists, resulting in an immersive space with giant insects where children could learn about caring for their first garden through play. We're humbled to have played a part in providing a positive environment for the growth of the younger generation in our community.

Illustration I Branding

I cherished this project for the creative freedom it gave me in designing a new mezcal brand, a Mexican treasure with deep roots in Oaxaca. My inspiration drew from the rich heritage of this region, where mezcal producers had once migrated to the United States in search of work and sustenance. Now, with mezcal’s resurgence, they’ve returned to their homeland.
Oaxaca, with its vivid colors and timeless traditions, served as my muse. I aimed to capture the essence of this vibrant state in my design, paying homage to the ancestral roots that make Oaxaca so special.
